Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

We went there with two other couples on Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend because it usually isn't as crowded as other places nearer to town. We have had a boat in NB for 20 years and regularly hit Roma's at least twice a summer, so we have seen all of the changes over the years. Setting is much nicer than it used to be. Pizza seems to be getting better too, and it was at least acceptable in the past. What we couldn't believe was that the restaurant was basically empty on a holiday weekend evening, and the pizzas were terrific. Wife and I had a Hawaiian pizza, which was really good. Lots of toppings and tasty crust. Others in our party liked theirs as well. Waitress was new and made a couple of mistakes, but apologized each time and was very attentive. I hope the lack of a crowd doesn't mean Roma's might not make it. We will certainly be back often this summer.

We stopped by half an hour before closing, which I understand is a challenge for many places. Most of the tables were dirty and had plates on them. We sat for about 15 minutes before anyone came over to talk to us and take our drink orders, and that includes two trips to the bar to remind them that we were there. The pasta looked fantastic, but we were in the mood for pizza so we split a 12" pie. It was absolutely delicious, and the #1 reason why we will probably come back to Roma the next time we're in town. We tried it with ham and pineapple, Hawaiian style, with extra sauce. I wish I would have asked for a side of sauce as well, for the crust of the pizza was thick and fluffy (albeit a bit dry) and I could have treated it like breadsticks. We sat on the patio but found that due to it being in a wooded area and the patio being open for 6 inches near the ground that there were swarms of mosquitoes out there. We retreated inside with our pizza after getting a handful of bites each. I'd like to return to Roma during more normal business hours (and with some bug spray) to hopefully have a better experience with the service. Also, I really want to try their pasta.

Good enough pizza if you don't mind waiting 30-40 minutes for it while the server keeps telling you that's it's coming out soon! 'Was here with 2 families, inc. 4 kids. It literally took that long to bake off a cheese and 2, three item pies. Friendly enough service on a light evening made the crazy long wait even more puzzling. One pizza was mushroom, sausage, and banana peppers-- maybe two rings per slice. Serenity now...

I gave this place two stars, not because of their pizza so much...I like their pizza, although it is a bit pricey. What turns me off is seeing employees including pizza makers working in jeans and street clothes. I also have a hard time with people making pizza handling the ingredients with no gloves on, no head covering, apron or beard covering. In a quasi open kitchen, cleanliness is crucial if you want return customers. And, servers who wait on you in jeans with t shirts and open flannel shirts is very unrepresentable. I hope the management will take this as a hint because their pizza is not bad, I just can't get over the environment.

This is the second time I've been here and will definitely return. Our group ordered two pizzas - one sausage and veggies - the other pepperoni. Sausage was very good, but the pepperoni was to die for! One of the best I've ever had. The service was also very attentive.

Really good pizza, well made crust. Any pizzeria that has giardinera on the topping menu is serious. Haven't tried the other Italian dishes, because the pizza is so good. Recommend going with the thinner crust, the regular crust seemed a bit doughy in comparison. But then again, if you're in the mood for a little more crust, go with the "Chicago style", not a deep dish, but a very tasty thicker crust. Couple of beers on draft, full bar. The pizza is the thing, though. Funny thing I noticed, because of their location near the I84 exit, that people will just come in to use the bathroom. No wonder the staff gets a bit snippy at these people.

Had been wanting to try this place for a long time and wasn't that impressed. Ordered the supreme pizza. It was ok but didn't care for the crust at all - too thick and didn't like the taste. Had four ingredients - was expecting more with a supreme. I ordered from the car so didn't have menu to look at. Will probably give it another try sometime in the future.

Delicious pizza! Nicely toasted crust- not too thick or thin, crispy but not burnt. Nice amount of toppings. We devoured it!

Delicious pizza dough - something that's often hard to come by! The rest of the pizza was good, too, even when revisited cold at 4am. Customer service is fantastic - pleasant call when I placed my delivery order and fast delivery to our hotel in New Buffalo. It's been a few years since I've eaten in at Roma, but I remember a positive experience then, too.

Good pizza just very salty and super heavy on the cheese. Much more cheese than dough but I guess a lot of people like that. I'd prefer a little less cheese so next time may as for "easy cheese" on pizza. Fresh ingredients and tasty. Kids loved it.

I had pretty low expectations because I don't really like the way the Midwest does thin crust, but now I want one of these to open in my town. I just did takeout once but man, were those pizzas good. Excellent sauce, great crust.

Ordered the pasta and it was cold my boyfriends was ok but his napkin was drawn on when he unrolled it. They weren't too happy when I sent my cold pasta back and when it came back the sauce was still on the cold side ;(

Excellent pizza! We ordered bread sticks and margerita pizza and it is awesome good. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Awful! Thought I'd give Roma a try but never again. If you like hard crust, no sauce, little cheese, and raw pepperoni, then this pizza is for you. Otherwise, skip Roma and head to Capozio's. It's way better.

It will take a 2nd trip to give you and accurate review. My 1st visit was just OK. Ask for the free garlic bread.

Roma's Pizza is hands down my favorite pizza period! The quality of the ingredients have remained the same for 30+years. The success of any pizza starts with the crust... Roma's has this mastered. Whether you get pizza, calzones (pizza turnovers) or their italian sandwiches, you won't be disappointed. I make sure every time I'm back in the area to stop a get a pizza or two.

was expecting much better pizza. the crust was the true downfall. i was expecting something spectacular with all these great reviews. we ordered the regular crust - i could at best describe it as a baking soda crust like Chef boyardee does in the box. there was no chewy, yeasty-ness to it. no bite, just biscuit texture. sauce was ok. salad ok too. waitress seemed put out that we stopped in, us being the only ones there besides the local cops; but this whole area seemed non-inviting. would not recommend this place to anyone!

Great pizza a little more expensive than pizza hut but well worth the money
